Victoria has been an independent Reward consultant since 2013 specialising in the Retail, Hospitality and Service sectors. She draws on 14 years of both front line store operations and high quality support roles in HR, Finance and Central Operations to deliver practical and impactful Reward solutions.
She is passionate about ensuring that people are rewarded, informed, scheduled and motivated in the most appropriate way to deliver business objectives effectively and efficiently and that everyone can fulfil their potential. At the same time, she has developed expertise around compliance areas such as the National Living Wage, Working Time Directive and Gender Pay Gap reporting to support fair pay in a commercial way.
A Chartered Accountant as well as holding the CIPD's Advanced Certificate in Reward Management with merit and a Prince2 Practitioner. She has worked in both Audit and Consulting with Arthur Andersen. Since 2006, Victoria has been a director of the Comet Trustee Company, a final salary occupational scheme with c.£1/2bn of assets and 5000 members and pensioners, in that time working through the closure of the scheme to future contribution, the sale and subsequent administration of the Principal Employer and the ongoing investment of assets and progress back from deficit and into surplus.

Developing online and offline coaching in Reward
Designing, developing and implementing a Reward framework with job levelling for a number of clients, including all roles globally where none existed before and some to reduce hierarchy and focus on career development
Developing and implementing pay frameworks for Retail Management and Non-Management across a number of organisations and countries including where driven by changes such as business merger, annualised hours and the National Living Wage
Redesigning Retail bonuses from shop floor to Regional Management for a range of businesses across both the UK and globally
Redesigning Reward for Contact Centre, Home Delivery and Service operations
Carrying out detailed National Living Wage compliance audits and reporting in a number of complex organisations
Leading on a project to deliver Working Time Regulations compliance in a large and complex organisation
Developing and delivering Gender Pay Gap Reporting
Providing Reward expertise for the relocation of certain functions in the UK
Setting up and chairing a Reward Forum of Reward experts in a range of retailers quarterly since 2015, for HR in the Third Sector in April 2021 and a Diversity Forum in 2020
Implemented and championed recognition toolkit for managers to recognise staff locally, supporting national programmes
